Colin Gough

Colin Gough is a Manager in the firm's Assurance Services Group, where he serves clients across the Private Client Services, Real Estate, and Pension Services practices. With five years of experience, he leads and manages audit engagements for privately held companies, consolidated entities, and organizations with foreign operations.

Colin’s responsibilities include overseeing all phases of the audit process—from planning and risk assessment to fieldwork, reporting, and wrap-up. He communicates findings and recommendations directly with clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls. In addition to his client-facing work, Colin supervises and mentors junior staff, reviews workpapers and deliverables, and contributes to the development of audit methodologies and internal training programs. His approach emphasizes both technical accuracy and collaborative client relationships.

Before joining the firm, Colin was a Senior Audit Associate with Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP, a North Carolina-based leading accounting firm, which merged EisnerAmper in 2024.
