Charles Talbert

Charles Talbert is a Director with more than 35 years of experience as an actuary and statistician, including a stint with the U.S. Bureau of Census. Charles supports clients with deep expertise, knowledge and a passion for turning complex retirement planning strategies into easily understood paths to success.

Charles specializes in defined benefit pension plan consulting and administration including cash balance plans and consults on statistical surveys for tax, audit and valuation purposes. His caring, thoughtful and collaborative approach is key to helping clients reach their professional and personal goals and understand the intrinsic value a benefits program brings to them and their employees.

Charles’ clients are mostly private entities that want to provide retirement benefits to their employees or seek an additional tax deduction by contributing to a qualified retirement plan.

Prior to joining the firm, Charles was a Director at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm, which provided clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning, wealth management and advisory services, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries including health care, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate and more.
