Michael Rose Joins EisnerAmper as a Partner in Process, Risk, and Technology Solutions (PRTS)

Will Spearhead Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) Service Offering

EisnerAmper is pleased to announce that Michael Rose has joined the firm as a PRTS partner. He will specialize in enterprise risk management, IT, regulatory and compliance, internal audit and monitoring, and data governance. In addition, Michael will also be the practice leader for a new service offering related to compliance and monitoring for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) transactions.

Michael has more than 35 years of experience in governance/compliance, internal audit, internal controls, business process optimization, as well as IT audit and advisory, IT security, and monitoring controls. He has been responsible for the implementation of compliance programs, enterprise risk management processes, global internal audit engagements, process optimization for business units worldwide, design and testing of controls, and the management of global Sarbanes-Oxley processes. Michael’s compliance work has included readiness for National Security Agreements under the supervision of CFIUS.

Michael gained industry expertise as the CEO and founding partner of a consulting firm where he was responsible for overseeing all functional aspects of firm-wide operations in service areas such as enterprise risk management, fraud prevention and detection, corporate governance, risk and controls, business process improvement and IT security. He also held a position with a Big Four accounting firm where he was involved in external financial statement audits, internal audit engagements, strategic planning, leveraged buyouts, SEC reporting, IPOs and secondary offerings.

Michael, who will be based at EisnerAmper’s Philadelphia office, has a B.S. in Business and an M.B.A. in Finance from Philadelphia University and an M.S. in Taxation from Widener University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Information Systems Audit & Control Association. In addition, he holds several industry certifications including the CPA, CIA, CCSA, CRMA, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, and CITP.
