Biography

Matthew Talia is a Senior Tax Manager and a member of the Financial Services Group with over five years of tax and accounting experience. He specializes in tax consulting, planning, compliance, structuring, and transaction analysis for the financial services industry. Matt also provides services to a broad range of asset management clients, including private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, real estate funds, family offices, management companies, and venture capital funds.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Matt started his career as an intern at EisnerAmper. He later took a position at a $55 billion alternative investments firm, where he provided tax services to hedge funds, corporate credit, private equity, real estate, non-performing loan, and mortgage-backed security funds.

Matt is a contributor to articles of interest to investors and investment managers. He also assists with internal training, mentoring staff, and the recruitment of new employees.
