Jolene Fraser, a Managing Director in EisnerAmper’s Financial Advisory Services Group, was named chair of the California Society of CPAs (“CalCPA”) for the 2020/21 term.

With more than 45,000 members, CalCPA is dedicated to increasing the value and promoting the integrity of the CPA profession; contributing to the success of its members; and strengthening client, employer, public and government trust in CalCPA member advice, work products and opinions. As the organization’s chair, Jolene will have a key leadership role in establishing the strategic priorities and advancing the mission, vision and core values of CalCPA.

Jolene, who works out of EisnerAmper’s Sacramento and San Francisco offices, has 20-plus years of public accounting and consulting services experience. She specializes in forensic accounting, providing consulting services and expert testimony in matters involving professional standards applicable to CPAs, special investigations, fraud investigations, and commercial and individual damages. She works with counsel and their clients on complex accounting, auditing and financial issues throughout the litigation process.

“CalCPA plays a pivotal role in advocating for the accounting profession in California and beyond,” said John M. Williamson, EisnerAmper Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Western Region. “And I can’t think of a better person to chair that organization than Jolene. She has decades of practical experience and is extremely engaged in the business and accounting ecosystem throughout the state. CalCPA is in great hands.”

“Jolene’s depth of experience as a CPA, business executive and active, engaged member and volunteer leader of CalCPA gives her the requisite skills to lead our profession during these challenging times,” said Anthony Pugliese, CPA, President and CEO of CalCPA.”
