EisnerAmper’s Asset Management Group Adds Industry Veteran To Focus On Issues And Trends Affecting Fund Managers

Noted Alternative Investment Journalist Elana Margulies Joins Leading Financial Services Accounting, Tax, and Advisory Firm.

EisnerAmper today announced that Elana Margulies has joined the Asset Management Group within its Financial Services practice. In her role, Ms. Margulies, a well-known alternative finance industry reporter and writer, will concentrate on developing articles, opinion pieces and original research designed to help illuminate the most challenging issues confronting fund managers and executives.

Elana Margulies, most recently Chief Reporter at Pageant Media’s Hedge Fund Manager Week, has also written and researched numerous articles for leading publications, including Institutional Investor’s Alternative Investment News. Her breaking news coverage of hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity and other alternative investments including liquid alternatives, has earned her a reputation as one of the asset management industry’s most respected voices.  “I look forward to taking a fresh look at the industry’s performance from the aspect of what contributes to or impedes growth,” she said. “I hope that by raising concerns, starting conversations and creating a platform for candid discussion, EisnerAmper will enhance its already valuable contributions to better understanding where our industry is heading.”

Elana received her Bachelor of Arts with honors from Brandeis University and Master's Degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She holds leadership positions with a number of industry networking groups and not-for-profits, most notably Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) in Hedge Funds.
