Twinkal Shah

Twinkal Shah is a Senior Manager in the Outsource Finance and Accounting practice, within the Cloud Accounting Services Group, and has more than 15 years of experience specializing in real estate and property management accounting services in both public and private accounting.

Twinkal provides a variety of services to real estate clients including but not limited to REIT’s; residential properties comprised of condominiums, co-ops, rentals, commercial real estate; and multifamily units. Her responsibilities consist of planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities for clients. Twinkal strives to help clients standardize their processes by way of adding efficiencies and utilizing technology, as well as process and procedure implementation.

Earlier in her career, Twinkal served as Director of Financial Management for a residential property management firm where she managed the day-to-day financial operations of a portfolio of over 75 residential, rental, and multifamily properties consisting of 7,000+ units. Twinkal and her team reviewed and prepared monthly GAAP financial statements for institutional investors. This also included financial reporting such as cash flow analysis, cash management, budget vs. actual analytics, in addition to ad hoc reporting.

Twinkal started her career at a mid-sized public accounting firm where she grew to be a supervisor. She supervised various staff accountants on several engagements and performed common interest realty association (CIRA) audits and prepared tax returns. Twinkal’s role also included performing substantive testing, and analytical procedures to prepare GAAP based on financial statements audit results.

Twinkal is a member of Women of EisnerAmper’s New Jersey Chapter, and she also assists in internal training and mentoring of staff.
