Sherry L. Warm

Sherry Warm is a Senior Tax Manager and a member of the Real Estate Services Group with over 10 years of public accounting experience. She provides tax compliance and advisory services to clients in the real estate, private equity, and hospitality industry.

Sherry also has experience in complex partnership concepts, including calculation of basis adjustments under Sec. 743(b) and Sec. 734(b) for a multi-tier partnership structure, special partnership profit or loss allocations, sales/transfer of partnership interests and sales of assets. Additionally, Sherry has researched, prepared and advised clients on complex tax issues such as AAR filing for amended partnership tax returns.

Prior to joining the firm, Sherry performed tax preparation at a mid-size public accounting firm, where she provided tax compliance for high net worth individuals. She also corresponded to address federal, state and local tax notices and inquires.

Sherry is a contributor on tax related articles. She is also an active member in the firm’s Asian Employee Network and has participated in events and published articles on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
