Robert D. Church, Jr is a Managing Director in the firm's Forensic Accounting, Litigation, & Valuation group, whose principal focus is health care fraud and abuse and litigation. With over 20 years of professional experience, Rob possesses deep and expansive expertise in health care, health care fraud and abuse, white-collar crime, and investigations. He has a proven track record of identifying misspent health care funds as well as extensive experience with all provider types in Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Health, and commercial matters

Rob's extensive case work includes claims review, investigation, depositions, and trial testimony. He closely works with attorneys in defense of providers, attorneys, and relators/whistleblowers, and federal as well as state agencies on matters involving the False Claims Act (FCA), Stark, and Anti-Kickback statutes

He is a trusted partner and advisor to attorneys, providers of all types, relators, psychologists, federal and state agencies, attorneys general, health plans, policymakers, and other health care related stakeholders.

Rob's unparalleled national experience in health care fraud investigation, along with his multitude of earned credentials, endows him with a comprehensive perspective of health care and forensic investigations and accounting. By leveraging data mining, analytics, and audit, he is able to uncover and pursue complex schemes and compliance breaches, as well as develop policies and capabilities to deter, identify, and pursue similar matters. This exceptional ability to dissect complex data and comprehend intricate regulatory and legal frameworks has earned him invitations to serve as an expert witness in numerous cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Rob was a Managing Member of a leading white collar healthcare investigation firm. With a wealth of experience building, leading, and strengthening forensic investigations, corporate and regulatory compliance, and cost containment, Rob has served as an executive consultant for numerous multibillion-dollar companies.

Rob has taught several courses on forensic accounting, health fraud, and abuse schemes, damage calculations, and forensic psychology aspects in both the United States and Dubai, U.A.E. Furthermore, Rob is also an active writer and thought leader. He frequently publishes articles and contributes to discussions to provide valuable insights and perspectives on critical issues related to healthcare fraud, abuse & white-collar crime.
