Michael G. Valencia

Michael Valencia is a Director with over 30 years of experience providing audit and accounting services. He has led audits and SEC filings of multinational enterprises and middle-market companies engaged in manufacturing, distribution, finance, insurance, software sales, hospitality, and real estate development. He is experienced with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s auditing standards, the governance and the internal control over financial reporting guidelines stipulated by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

In addition, Michael has directed financial due diligence engagements, has performed audits of hotels, and has experience with financial statements of real estate developers presented under both United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Throughout his career, Michael, who is fluent in Spanish, has served clients doing business in various foreign jurisdictions in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Michael has served as an Officer of several South Florida professional and not-for-profit groups. He is also active in venture capital and angel groups, assisting entrepreneurs in bringing their ideas to market and ultimately listing their securities in stock exchanges.
