Jennifer Sklar

Jennifer Sklar is a Tax Partner in the firm’s International Tax Group. She specializes in domestic and international tax planning for individuals and businesses. Jennifer advises on cross-border tax planning and foreign information reporting obligations of inbound and outbound taxpayers.

Jennifer advises on the U.S. tax consequences associated with the formation
of foreign subsidiaries and assists with structuring the acquisition and
reorganization of domestic and foreign entities. She also analyzes the
impact of U.S. income tax treaties with foreign jurisdictions on cross-border
transactions, including sourcing rules, withholding tax obligations and
limitation on benefits provisions.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer was a Partner and a Director at two national accounting firms. She also served as a tax attorney in the International Tax Services Group at RSSM and was an assistant tax director at Sony Corporation of America (SONAM).

Jennifer began her career in tax in the Capital Markets practice at a Big 4 accounting firm.
