Desra Keenan

Desra Keenan is a Senior Manager in the Audit and Assurance practice. With over 25 years of consulting experience, she has significant knowledge serving companies in the financial services, technology, not-for-profit, manufacturing and distributors, and health care industries.

Desra’s expertise includes computer system and business process internal controls assessments; computer technology reviews to assess how information systems meet organizational needs; operational audits and reviews involving the assessment of organizational efficiency; data gathering and analysis for the development of computer system specifications; evaluation and selection of ERP and financial management systems; and computer-assisted auditing techniques (CAAT) using IDEA.

Desra assist clients with the development of procedures manuals for accounting operations, and user manuals and training guides for customized and standard software. Her primary focus over the past 8 years has been to serve as project manager on many of the firm’s SSAE 16 engagements, as well as serve in the capacity of Quality Assurance (QA) reviewer for the SSAE 16 engagements.
