For the greater part of the past decade, EisnerAmper LLP has published its Concerns About Risks Confronting Boards survey results. This year’s report will be published soon. In the meantime, here’s a quick look at some of the findings.

Of particular note, the most shocking discoveries made this year include:

  1. Directors lack confidence in themselves: Directors yield dismally low percentages when asked if their own boards are well-prepared to manage the next crisis.
  2. Directors lack confidence in their organization’s leadership: Directors – whether of public, private, or not-for-profit boards – respond with bleak numbers when asked if leadership is managing the top-rated concern well.
