Lisë Stewart: Hello. The Center for Family Business Excellence would like to wish you the happiest of Thanksgiving holidays. One of our most important performance metrics is whether or not our clients are able to sit down and celebrate the holidays with those they love. So to that end, we'd like to share some tips that we hope will help you to preserve family harmony. One of my favorites, is to practice gratitude. Say one thing that you're truly thankful for. After all, that's the foundation of Thanksgiving.

Joanne Geylin: Remember, family first, leave the business at the door. Enjoy your time with your family. First person to talk about business has to do the dishes.
Aimee Conant: Take some time to breathe, reflect on the moments that brought you joy, hope and balance.
Natalie McVeigh: You've probably heard that laughter is the best medicine and it really is. It increases your endorphins dopamines and usually you'll smile, which increases serotonin. That means it'll reduce your anxiety and cortisol, so your family will feel connected.
Lanier Dalencourt: Gratitude is enhanced when you're fully present. So put all the phones down, no screen time, and be 100% engaged.
Matt Kerzner: Transparent communication is so important. So over the holiday time frame, make sure that you're clearly defining what you're thinking, feeling, and saying, so everybody can be on the same page with what you're trying to say.
Tim Schuster: For this Thanksgiving, it's always great to be positive and reflect with your family members. Spend as much time together as you can and really thoroughly enjoy the holidays.
Kristen Ward: Practice forgiveness, whether it was a wrong from five years ago or five minutes ago, unlock the freedom that comes by forgiving and moving forward.
All: Happy Thanksgiving!
