Timothy Speiss, Tax Partner in EisnerAmper’s Private Client Services Group (“PCS”), was a guest panelist at MarketWatch’s “Best New Ideas in Money Festival” held on September 22 in New York City.

The panel also included Allison Busch, partner at Hartmann Doherty, Rosa, Berman & Bulbulia, and was hosted by Quentin Fottrell, Personal Finance Managing Editor at MarketWatch.

The trio covered topics such as the pandemic’s impact on financial and estate planning, risk mitigation in the markets, portfolio design and allocation mix, the need for open communication with clients, and more.

The panelists also tackled audience questions including borrowing from a 401(k) for college tuition, rising interest rates and home purchases, and asset withdrawals during retirement.
