Tim specializes in individual and pass-through entity taxation with experience in the real estate and private equity investment industries, family-owned and operated business enterprises, privately-owned pass-through entities, real estate investment trusts, and international ventures.

Tim brings a comprehensive understanding of complex tax matters, specializing in a wide range of filings, including partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, trust, estate, and individual tax returns. With a keen eye for strategic planning and entity structuring, Tim is dedicated to maximizing tax efficiencies for his clients, often collaborating with financial advisors to deliver tax-favorable solutions in both life and retirement planning.

One of Tim’s notable achievements includes securing over $250,000 in refunds for a client by identifying a unitary filing position and amending state tax returns. He has also successfully represented clients in “No Change” IRS and state audits, often reducing or eliminating penalties.

Prior to joining the firm, Tim was a Principal at Tighe, Kress & Orr, a Chicago-based firm offering personalized tax, accounting, and audit services to individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit entities, with expertise in tax compliance, start-up consulting, and financial reporting.
