Paula Young is a Partner in the Audit Department with over 30 years of experience. As a member of the firm’s National Office of Professional Practice, Paula focuses on performing engagement technical reviews, research and consultation to all offices. She is also experienced in SEC compliance and reporting requirements.

Paula has served a variety of both public and private companies throughout her career. Her experience includes clients such as supermarkets, cooperatives, biotechnology companies, franchises, construction contractors, leasing and marketing companies, as well as manufacturers and distributors.

Paula is dedicated to contributing to the accounting community by sharing relevant insights. She is currently on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), a member of the Education Foundation Executive Committee, the Accounting & Auditing Standards Interest Group, and the Middlesex/Somerset Chapter of the NJCPA. She has previously been the chair of the Accounting & Auditing Standards Interest Group and the Professional Conduct Committee. Paula also participates in various task forces of the AICPA’s Center for Audit Quality and the Professional Ethics Executive Committee.

Paula was recently featured in the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) IssuesWatch Podcast, where she discussed the Statement of Cash Flows. 

Paula is a recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award by the NJCPA for her dedicated service to the organization.
