Aaron Lerner

Aaron Lerner is a Tax Partner in the Real Estate Services Group and has more than 15 years of experience serving both public and private clients. Aaron provides tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of real estate clients, including, private equity real estate funds, commercial and residential real estate companies, hotels, and condominiums. His experience also includes developing tax saving strategies for owning and operating properties, structuring and negotiating complex sales, and acquisitions.

Additionally, Aaron’s diverse experience includes providing tax compliance and reporting (including dividend reporting) for REITs, real estate funds, and operating entities as well as tax due diligence for real estate purchases. His experience also includes both domestic and international investors.

Prior to joining the firm, Aaron was a Manager with a Big 4 accounting firm and provided tax compliance services for real estate and private equity funds.

Aaron has presented on tax topics at several summits hosted by Allinial Global, an accounting firm association of legally independent accounting and consulting firms whose members collaborate extensively and frequently to solve complex business problems with offices in North America and throughout the world.
