The Position

Reporting directly to the CFO you will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting activities for various divisions/ business units, as well as planning, forecasting, research, and analysis.

Other responsibilities include directing and overseeing the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements: month-end close, quarterly, and year-end close. Ensure that reports, filings, and documentation comply with company’s regulations, professional standards, and GAAP reporting guidelines.

Responsible for developing/implementing internal controls in accordance with company policies, procedures, and workflows. Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting and financial reporting function.

Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.

Working with external auditors. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills in U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements. Furthermore,

  • Large ERP experience is a must. Microsoft Business Central or Net Suite experience, a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple demands and shifting/competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to motivate others and convey information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing accounting team.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.

Experience

Minimum of 8 years of progressive mix in public/private accounting and reporting experience.

Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college. Active CPA certification required. On-site location at Wellington, FL 33414.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
