This year’s theme was “What’s Around the Bend: The Future of Alternative Investments.” The Summit featured top investors and fund managers who provided perspectives on current trends, opportunities, and what the future holds for the hedge fund, private equity, venture capital and alternative investment markets. Panels included “The Future of Hedge Funds” and “A New Era of Private Equity and Venture Capital.” This year’s keynote speakers (and “Sharks” on ABC’s Shark Tank ) were Barbara Corcoran, Founder of The Corcoran Group, and Daymond John, FUBU Founder & CEO, who were interviewed by Charles Weinstein, CEO of Eisner Advisory Group LLC. Barbara and Daymond shared the successes and challenges of their respective journeys, what they think comprises a winning investment, tips for investors and more.
