Tom Cardinale is a Tax Partner with over 20 years of public accounting experience and a member of the firm’s Corporate Tax Group. His core responsibilities include managing large business tax compliance engagements for domestic and multinational C-Corporations. Tom is also proficient in ASC 740 income tax provision compliance for public and private companies. Overall, he has vast experience in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, service, and technology space.

Tom is a national tax leader to emerging business groups in the firm, including blockchain and cryptocurrency, and cannabis and hemp. He is also an advisor to the Transaction Advisory Services Group (TAS), to which he advises business owners on specialty tax provisions, tax strategies in mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence support.

In media activities, Tom is the Editor-in-Chief of the firm’s Business Tax Quarterly newsletter, a publication covering current and mainstream business tax topics. He has also been a CNBC contributor discussing cryptocurrency tax matters, and been quoted in various print media, including Bloomberg, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and Financial Advisor Magazine.

Throughout his career, Tom has conducted several presentations and been a panel speaker on an array of corporate business tax topics for the Tax Executives Institute (NJ/NY Chapters), Financial Executives International, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
