Erick Cutler is a Partner in the Private Client Services Group, with nearly 25 years of public accounting experience. Erick focuses on tax compliance and consulting work in the health care and real estate industries, where he oversees the preparation of all annual federal and state compliance and regularly reviews the client’s financial statements.

Erick also consults with clients on the health of their practice or business, making sure they understand the business and tax aspects of their strategy and suggests new ideas they may not have considered. Highly skilled in the areas of cost segregation, he is able to provide commercial real estate holding companies with cost segregation studies that allow them to take advantage of the rules of depreciation by increasing their depreciation deductions thereby improving their cash flow.

Prior to joining the firm, Erick was a Tax Partner with Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP), a leading full service audit and accounting firm in Dallas. He provides his clients with a year-end tax plan, which examines their tax year, details their current position with the various government agencies and describes opportunities for the upcoming year from both a tax and business perspective.

Erick began his professional career in the tax department at of a regional accounting firm. He also spent three years as a Tax Associate with a financial advisory services firm.
