Tenaya Taylor is the Chief Diversity Officer for the firm. She leads the global equity, inclusion, and diversity strategy. Tenaya works closely with leaders to advance and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) into the firm-wide culture. She champion’s a culture of belonging where employees feel confident sharing their ideas and valued for their abilities.
As a seasoned practitioner, Tenaya brings over 20 years of expertise and leadership in DE&I, multicultural marketing, communications, and advocacy from Fortune 100 companies. Her focus on meaningful change and removing barriers to equity and inclusion helps increase and retain diverse representation across all talent levels. Tenaya is a passionate thought leader who creates psychological safety and spaces for people to learn, grow, and thrive. She has developed training for executive leadership and people managers, launched professional employee networks and introduced inclusive language in enterprise messages that reduce bias. In addition, Tenaya has championed strategies to increase disability inclusion, implemented diverse employee giving programs and expanded supplier diversity spending programs.
Before joining the firm, Tenaya was with a global biopharmaceutical company, where she served as the organizational lead for diversity and inclusion (D&I), corporate reputation, executive and crisis communications. Prior to that, she led global marketing and employee engagement and fostered a more inclusive culture and consumer brand at a Fortune 100 global technology company.
Tenaya is a frequent speaker and has led leadership and development on the neuroscience of diversity, organizational leadership, inclusion, and change management. Most recently, she was quoted in “New Jersey Business Magazine” Ensuring Diverse, Equitable & Inclusive Workplaces.
