Stephen Doneson is a Senior Manager in the Audit and Assurance Services Practice and a member of the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Group with over 10 years of experience. He oversees all aspects of the audit engagement. Stephen has SEC experience and serves both public and private companies, including early-stage companies, in a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, manufacturing and distribution, and insurance. He is knowledgeable in complex technical issues, such as SEC compliance, revenue recognition, business combinations, equity-based compensation, and complex debt and equity financings.
Additionally, Stephen is a member of the Pension Services Group and manages employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k)s, defined benefit and 403(b) plans. Stephen understands the reporting and regulatory requirements unique to these types of audits and stays abreast of changes in the employee benefit plan landscape, including recent accounting standards updates and required implementation.
