Russell Lacock is a Senior Manager within the firm's Private Client Services group, bringing over a decade of invaluable expertise in public accounting to our team. With a keen focus on delivering exceptional tax services, Russell's specialty lies in serving closely held family businesses, high net worth individuals, family limited partnerships, trusts & estates, and international reporting.

Russell is dedicated to consulting with clients on their tax strategies, projecting their income to provide comprehensive tax estimates, and identifying planning opportunities. He has a strong passion for the National Best Practice Group, which emphasizes employee training and engagement, as well as the smooth onboarding of acquired firms. Russell led the successful integration of the Dallas office into XCM and the firm’s global procedures, showcasing his exceptional leadership and management skills.

Prior to joining the firm, Russell worked as a Tax Manager at a boutique tax firm specialized in family businesses and high net worth clients. He managed engagements for over 300 business, fiduciary, and individual clients across multiple industries. He helped clients and their financial advisors develop tax strategies, represented clients before the IRS for the majority of the firm’s client audits, and ensured that clients remained in compliance with tax regulations.
