Robert K. Wilson

Robert Wilson is a Director specializing in Process, Risk, and Technology Solutions (PRTS), with 20 years of consulting serving both public and private companies. He provides a host of internal audit, risk management and finance transformation services to clients in various sectors, including manufacturing, industrial, water/waste water, telecom and governmental.

Prior to joining the firm, Robert held leadership positions within several consulting firms and several CFO roles within the water and telecom industries. He was the Founder of a boutique consulting practice focused on outsourced CFO services, strategic planning and funding development for startups in the water, wastewater, biofuel and agricultural industries. Prior to that he was with two national accounting firms where he served as Partner and Sector Leader for the Industrials, Energy and Utility Groups and as a Partner and Practice Leader for Business Advisory Services.

Earlier, in his career Robert was SVP and CFO of a deregulated subsidiary of the largest and most geographically diverse U.S. publicly traded water and wastewater utility company. He led the business development effort for new client contracts and the mergers and acquisitions initiatives that helped drive the company from $35 to $250 million in revenues within two years while transforming the accounting and finance function into a shared service model.

Robert has written and presented several articles on the water and wastewater industry over the past 5 years and on risk management for New Jersey CPA Magazine. He has also presented his whitepaper on “The Circular Economy – Can it Transform the Future of Manufacturing?” to the Water Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) 43rd Washington Forum.
