From the book’s forward, Charles Weinstein, EisnerAmper’s CEO, writes, “Over the course of his career, David Bookbinder has been uniquely positioned to observe that human capital has consistently been undervalued in M&A transactions,” while Bookbinder himself states that, “As someone who has tried to quantify the value of people for a large part of my career, I can tell you it's usually the other intangibles, like patents or trademarks that mathematically wind up proving to be more valuable assets simply because they're more quantifiable.” Bookbinder goes on to explain that throughout this book, “I share the data that I've uncovered and the conversations that I've had in collaborating with various thought leaders as I’ve worked to find greater meaning in the context of valuing the contributions of individuals.”
Bookbinder has over 25 years of experience, with a diverse background in corporate finance consulting with particular expertise in the area of financial valuation.
