Tim Speiss Talks Smart Retirement and Tax Strategies on Yahoo Finance

As tax season approaches, Timothy Speiss, Co -Leader of EisnerAmper’s Personal Wealth Advisors Group (far right), sat down with the hosts at Yahoo Finance for their segment on “Taxes Made Simple.” Tim discussed the pros and cons of an IRA versus a Roth retirement account.

Tim noted one trend, which is that many people currently favor the Roth over a traditional IRA, perhaps even at the expense of an employer 401(K) plan. He added that some of the biggest mistakes people make are simply not planning for retirement, starting to save too late, or missing out on employer matches. As Yahoo’s Adam Shapiro suggested, “It’s never too early to start planning for retirement.” Check out Tim’s segment here.
