Nonprofit Revitalization Act Signed Into Law

On December 18, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo signed into law the Nonprofit Revitalization Act of 2013.  The legislation sets out new requirements for New York nonprofits, most of which take effect July 1, 2014.  This most comprehensive reform of New York’s nonprofit laws in decades will require virtually all New York nonprofits and their boards to evaluate their current policies and procedures. EisnerAmper's Not-for-Profit Services group will be addressing all of the changes and how organizations can assess compliance.  For more information on the session, and to register, please click here.
