Nelson Luis Joins EisnerAmper as a Principal in the Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services Group

EisnerAmper is pleased to announce that Nelson Luis has joined the firm as a Principal in the Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services Group and will serve as the Forensics Practice Leader for the Philadelphia office.
Nelson has extensive experience advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border forensic, dispute, litigation and fraud investigation matters. (He has managed more than 150 cross-border investigations across several continents and led in-country Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations and compliance assessments in 40-plus countries.)
Nelson supports transaction due diligence efforts, business interruption/fidelity insurance claims, and compliance assessments to recover under-reported revenues. His arbitration and dispute-related responsibilities include creating financial models, economic projections and sensitivity analyses to determine financial damages; providing support on purchase price disputes and working capital adjustments; and preparing evidentiary materials for trial.

Nelson, who is fully bilingual (English and Spanish), will be based at EisnerAmper’s Philadelphia office. He has a B.S. and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. He also has a certificate from Harvard University’s Leadership Program and Florida International University’s Foundations of Accounting & Auditing. He holds the Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Forensic Interviewer designations. An acknowledged subject matter speaker, author and instructor, Nelson is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, International Association for Interviewers, and the Risk and Insurance Management Society. Nelson is the 2018 recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader Award for his efforts related to diversity and inclusion.
