Neal Godt

Neal Godt is an Audit Partner with nearly 40 years of public accounting experience. He is the firm’s National Commercial Services Leader, Partner-in-Charge of the SEC and New Jersey Audit practice and a member of the Executive Committee for EisnerAmper LLP. Among the industry sectors Neal serves are consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, software and technology, life sciences and service-related companies. Prior to joining the firm, Neal was an Audit Partner at a Big 4 firm.

Neal serves a wide range of private and publicly held clients, including those owned or invested in by private equity companies. He has assisted his publicly-held clients with all aspects of SEC reporting, compliance and filings. He has helped clients with transactions such as IPOs, private placements, debt financings, 144A debt offerings, and technical consultations (for non-attest clients) on subjects such as consolidations, revenue recognition, purchase accounting and debt/equity.

In addition, Neal has spearheaded numerous due diligence engagements, advised on mergers and acquisitions, and managed operational improvement and process evaluation reviews. He has also assisted clients in litigation support and arbitration disputes.
