Michael Rosenberg

Michael Rosenberg is a Director within Risk and Compliance Services (RCS) Group, and co-leads the CFIUS Advisory Services. He has more than 35 years of both public and private accounting experience. Michael has assisted clients in the financial services industries, providing a host of audit and risk services, in addition to regulatory compliance (including Sarbanes–Oxley, insurance, banking, SEC and NYSE rules and regulations), investment management, treasury (cash management and foreign exchange), insurance/financial guaranty/re-Insurance, asset management, mutual fund accounting, global custody, consumer and commercial credit.

Michael helps ensure controls are working properly and business process documentation is current, through annual risk assessment and internal control testing. He identifies and evaluates control deficiencies and designs remediation efforts for the short and long term. Michael has also performed various services related to enterprise risk management, business process improvement, business continuity planning and financial compliance projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a Controls and Accounting Consultant. His previous experience includes serving as the Chief Audit Executive for two publicly traded companies, one being a hedge fund firm and the other an insurance company. Michael also served as a country treasurer and credit officer for a multi-national bank.

Michael is an industry thought leader, speaker and panelist on topics, including enterprise risk management, cyber security and internal controls.
