Michael Cintron

Michael Cintron is a Senior Manager in the Assurance and Technology Control Services Group. He has 10 years of experience specializing in internal controls and IT risk management. Michael’s expertise includes SOC reporting, internal audit services and regulatory compliance. He also has experience in financial audits, employee benefit plan audits and other services such as reviews, compilations and compliance testing. Michael has served clients in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, construction, technology, health care and sports, as well as financial institutions.

Michael consults with clients to help design and implement control strategies to address risk areas and mitigation strategies to allow for the intended compliance focus. His SOC experience consists of managing engagements from inception to report issuance for SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports for technology, investment advisor and insurance processing companies.

Michael has designed internal audit control test scripts and conducted testing for companies in the pharmaceutical, insurance and banking sectors has managed internal audit and compliance engagements with a particular focus on the banking regulations, such as Reg B, Reg P, Reg U, HMDA and UDAAP. In addition, Michael has spent time performing compliance reviews over bank specified trust department procedures such as disbursements, terminations and internal retention policies and implementation.
