KW: What kind of organizations are you involved with?
AC:I've been involved with everything. We were involved after Andrew. I was chair of Miami City Against Crime, I was chairman of the Chamber and the Town Square Development Corporation. I've fought casino gambling, I was the chairman of the fight against casino gambling twice. I mean have I’ve been involved and I've enjoyed it. And the arts, I am the vice chair of young arts; I've enjoyed it. Putting something back, to go back to the Downtown Doral school. You can do good and do well. In Downtown Doral, in doing that school, we've done a lot of good for a lot of kids. We have done well in that sense particularly. Not in the short-term, but over the long-term. That entry point being tied to a residence in Doral will have given a lot of value, so we don't look at short-term overnight returns. You look at the long-term view of how to do it right and I'll tell you a story. The bankers sent me a guy a few months ago and after a chat with him I found he's looking for a parcel in Doral. The guy comes to see me and says I'm looking for ten acres, or I can do with seven or to do an auto dealership, but I cannot find in Doral a parcel where I can do this. We had 120 acres, which is now 250 between what was the Doral Country Club, now Trump National and the Palmeiro. It’s privilege to have found that. You couldn’t duplicate Downtown Doral any place in Dade County. It’s just the demographic thrill was happening there in Doral, combined with being able to get the first piece, the corner piece, and then the second piece is an opportunity to do a community the right way - to put in all of the things that Miami is missing so you can go to Downtown Doral and eat at a great restaurant you can go to a great Japanese restaurant, the Dragonfly you can go to Booyah, you can go to Pisco Y Nasca, you can walk through and you have an iPhone store, you have a dry cleaner, you name it: a barbershop, a spa, so I'm having a great time putting all of this stuff together with Ana.
