Prior to joining the firm, Melissa worked at a Big 4 firm as an Assurance Senior in their Forensics & Integrity Services group. In this role, she was responsible for analyzing financial records and documents related to COVID-19 related expenses slated for reimbursement based on Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) guidelines. Melissa's experience in this field has been particularly valuable during the COVID-19 pandemic, as she has been able to apply her expertise to help clients navigate complex financial challenges.

She also has experience working as a Manager at a large retail company where she primarily worked on facilitating the accounting financial close process for all stores and wholesale channels within the business, which included reviewing general ledger entries and preparing reconciliations for critical accounts.
