Laura Macca is the Director of Business Transformation within the Enterprise Technology and Information Group, focused on tax technology and transformation. Laura has over 20 years of tax experience and has practiced at large multinational corporations and Big 4 accounting firms.
Laura draws upon her extensive experience with tax technical issues, compliance services, operations, technology, benchmarking, and change management to lead and drive the overall firm-wide strategy around tax process standardization and effective use of tax technology tools to support the tax practice across all service lines and U.S. locations.
Laura works with the firm’s tax, information technology, and innovation team leadership and employees to identify future tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices. In addition she is also a member of the firm’s change management leadership team.
Prior to joining the firm, Laura was the Chief of Staff of tax in the executive finance group of global investment management firm, where she managed the implementation of processes, policies, and technology enhancements to standardize and streamline the tax function along with mitigating risk.
