Steven Kreit Appointed Partner-In-Charge Of EisnerAmper’s New York Technology And Life Sciences Practice

Audit, tax and advisory firm, EisnerAmper LLP, today announced that Steven Kreit has been appointed Partner-in-Charge of its New York Technology and Life Sciences practice.

In making the announcement, John Pennett, the National Technology and Life Sciences Partner-in-Charge, said that “From the West to the East Coast we have built a practice that is enjoying significant growth. This is especially true in our New York City and Long Island markets where we have become a technology industry service provider of choice. Appointing a highly experienced and successful partner like Steve Kreit to this new position is very timely, and a recognition of the growth of the New York practice and his outstanding record in serving clients.”

Steve Kreit, an audit partner with EisnerAmper for ten years, serves clients across major markets including technology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals. His expertise includes helping companies grow from early stage through exits via M&A or an initial public offering. He is an expert with SEC filings including registration statements and compliance requirements.  Steve is active with many technology associations and has leadership roles on the Emerging Tech Entrepreneur Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs; as an advisor to SUNY-Stony Brook’s Center for Biotechnology, and as a frequent speaker and author for NewYork BIO and LaunchPad-LI.

In commenting on his appointment, Kreit said, “My role is to expand our already talented team that is focusing on this space, and to give them the tools they need to succeed in becoming luminaries in the tech and life sciences industries. I’m confident that in doing so we will continue to grow our entire New York practice.”

The EisnerAmper Technology and Life Sciences practice provides resources to allow clients to be innovative and successful. Among these are a comprehensive suite of audit, accounting, valuation, tax and advisory services that assist companies in all phases of their life cycles. The practice’s extensive business network includes leading sources of equity and debt capital. The Technology and Life Sciences professionals are also recognized industry strategic thought leaders, which is particularly important in the greater New York region where entrepreneurship, funding needs and successful IPO/exits are increasingly prevalent as the eco-system develops and expands.
