Joseph Rubin is currently a Consultant to the firm’s Real Estate Services Group. He is focused on various types of advisory assignments including property and entity transaction due diligence, in addition to strategic planning, operational efficiency and adequate governance and reporting for real estate companies. Joe also works with real estate families and their family offices on governance, transparency, reporting, and succession planning.
Joe has experience working with privately held real estate companies, real estate private equity funds, REITs and real estate lenders. He has performed diligence on hundreds of properties over a 35 year career. Joe was formerly a partner in the real estate advisory groups at firm specializing in accounting and consulting to the real estate industry and a Big 4 accounting firm.
Joe serves of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Association for Services to the Aging, where he is Chair of the Program Committee, as well as the Chair of Strategic Planning Committee and Advisory Board member for the Library of the Jewish Theological Seminary. He also serves as on the National Council of Trustees for National Jewish Hospital.
