Job Description:

The CFO/COO is a key member of the executive team reporting directly to the CEO and Co-Founder. They will have responsibility for financial strategic planning, analysis, budgeting and reporting, investor relations, risk management and business operations. The CFO/COO will work alongside the CEO and President to deploy new capital, grow market share, manage fundraising and investor relations while scaling operations globally. We are looking for an extraordinary thought leader, people manager, and strong operator.

What you'll bring:

  • Financial operations expertise – you’ve been around, you’ve succeeded in multiple financial roles, and worn the CFO hat before
    • CFO experience within a venture backed or PE backed growth stage company
    • Experience shepherding a company through the S1 process through IPO
  • Operations expertise – you’re more than a CFO; you can manage teams, operate and deliver results across business areas
    • Technical operations experience in both service and software technology businesses
  • You’ve established, deployed and improved systems company wide
  • Humility – you’ve seen a lot, made mistakes along the way, and know how to do it better this time
  • You have strong people management skills
  • You believe in a metrics-driven approach

Strategic & Financial Planning

  • Assist in formulating OS33’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop the financial models and measures that support such strategic directions
  • Clearly define and measure Return on Invested Capital (ROIC).
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism
  • Improvement of all financial models and planning


  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Manage key business functions and implement operational best practices
  • Management of metrics & tracking systems company-wide
  • Develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization through systems that will improve our overall operation and effectiveness
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
  • Construct and monitor control systems


  • Manage investors and fundraising processes
  • Manage the capital and budgeting processes
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Optimize balance sheet
  • Manage banking and lending relationships
