Ballard Spahr, a prestigious national law firm has an exciting opportunity for an assertive and ambitious professional. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with a wide variety of financial reporting and analysis duties that include but are not limited to financial report preparation, operating budget compilation, profitability analyses and ad-hoc financial inquiries.
This selected individual will be detail-oriented with sound business acumen, efficient problem solving skills; excellent communication skills and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
Requirements include an undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of two years' experience as a financial analyst or equivalent position, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Access (or other relational databases) and/or OLAP technology strongly preferred. Must be willing to accept responsibilities that may demand a commitment of more than 40 hours per week, particularly in peak seasons.
