Job #1851: Interim CFO - NY (2/9/2023)

We are prominent, a multi-million dollar College located in the Purchase, NY area. We are looking for a CPA or MBA with at least 10 years of progressive accounting and higher education experience preferable, finance and management expertise as well as experience directing the financial operations of the Company.

Responsibilities include: providing strategic and operational vision and direction, directing the accounting and internal control functions; improving and managing the monthly closing process; cash flow, variance analysis, bank reporting and preparing financial forecasts. Leading costing enhancements to the manufacturing component of the business. Working with our executives and other professionals. The Organization uses a well known name accounting package but will most likely have to upgrade in the near future.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing financial operations providing exceptional value and brings a great attitude and spirit. In addition they have the ability to lead, grow and manage entrepreneurial divisions, excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with senior management, the Board of Directors and the Company's lenders. Having experience in the higher education sector, manufacturing, cost accounting and increasing cash flow and working with Donors will significantly enhance your chance of success.

This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment where critical thinking is a must. It also will require a commitment of time and energy to achieve standards of excellence.
