Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking an experienced finance leader to join a team of talented pet-enthusiasts who want to help change the veterinary experience for pets and their owners. The CFO/ VP Finance will be a key driving force behind our success as we continue to quickly grow as a company. You will be responsible for leading our finance department.

Nightingale Veterinary Partners is headquartered in New York City with practices in New Jersey, New York City and Westchester County.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all of the finance and accounting functions of the company
  • Lead Nightingale’s finance department, starting with two direct reports
  • Migrate the company from cash-based accounting to GAAP
  • Prepare the company for a 2022 audit
  • Migrate our software from QuickBooks to a more robust, scalable system
  • Automate our financial reporting systems
  • Create the processes to improve the scalability of our financial systems

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for animals
  • CPA
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to take initiative, think on your feet and quickly make well-thought-out decisions
