Havencrest Capital Management is a Dallas-based, committed capital, private equity investment fund manager focused exclusively on the healthcare industry. Havencrest targets buyouts, majority recapitalizations in high-growth companies with $2M - $10M in healthcare services, behavioral health, pharma services, post-acute care, tech enabled services and medical products.
Role Description
Havencrest is looking for an exceptional professional to work as a full‐time senior fund accountant, working directly with various 3rd party vendors and be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of:
1. Fund accounting & administration
a. Preparing and tracking capital calls and distributions
b. Quarterly management fees calculations
c. Reviewing quarterly financials & PCAPs
d. Fund expense reporting & analysis
2. Management company accounting and budgeting
a. Havencrest monthly expense management and review
b. Monthly budget to actual tracking
3. Annual tax work for Havencrest funds and portfolio companies
4. Year-end audits for Havencrest funds and related vehicles
5. Firm compliance monitoring and reporting
6. LP communication and deliverables (Semi-annual updates, co-investment quarterly updates, ad-hoc LP requests)
7. Portfolio company administration
a. Quarterly invoicing (expense and management fees)
b. Ad-hoc PortCo projects
8. Responsible for Firm and Fund cash management
9. Special projects and analysis for leadership
10. Assisting deal team with new investments
a. Establishing bank accounts and EINs
b. Coordinating closing wires and reviewing funds flow
c. Due diligence
11. Work w/ VP of Business Development to manage CRM tool (DealCloud)
12. Certain HR functions such as recruiting and new employee onboarding
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a top‐tier university with a strong GPA
· CPA preferred but not required
· 2+ years of accounting experience (preferably in financial services)
· Office based position in Dallas, Texas
