looking for an exceptional Finance leader to drive corporate growth and strategy, and provide stable
accurate financial information to C-level and employees throughout nugs.net. We are looking for a driven,
passionate, organized, diligent leader who can take our company to the next level commensurate with our
healthy subscriber growth goals.


General Responsibilities-FP&A
● Dashboards – Internal Financial, Marketing, A&R & Artist Facing
● Shared Resources-shared docs on shared folder
● Compile F/S for Mgmt, Investors, etc.
● Budget Plan and triggers for additional spending
● KPIs – overall and by department
● Projections (financial, subs, content)-bottom up
● Comp & PTO Management
● Pre-Audit Procedures
● Streamlining Accounting-Finance Procedures
● Maintain Banking Relationship, Oversee Bank Field Review & Loan Requirements
● A&R/Content Spending Plan
● Investor Processes & Data Room Updates
● Weekly/Monthly/YTD Performance Highlights and Trends (subs, revenues, etc.)


Finance - Marketing Overlay
● Muscle to support the content acquisition push
● Proactively driving innovative financial models to incentivize artist onboarding and relationship
building with key artist targets/accounts
● Supportive and heavily involved in the artist pitch process with quick turn arounds on
model/pitch requests, data sharing and overall contract/pitch support
● Deep understanding of the relationship between content/LTV and churn and a general
understanding of the levers needed to pull to improve retention KPI’s
● Strong leadership skills – bullish but diplomatic. Strong POV but thoughtful, approachable, and
reliable in his delivery both verbally and with data/work output
● Keen understanding of the media and advertising space both from a direct
response/performance and brand media perspective.
● Demonstrate an understanding and strong POV on the appropriate ways to evaluate
each type of effort and how to allocate budgets accordingly across both
● Comfortable creating models that forecast business impact on various marketing spend
scenarios (data modeling using actual baseline campaign impression data)
● A general understanding of how multi-touch attribution works and the limitations of operating
on a last click model
● A detailed approach to bottoms up forecasting rooted in detailed data models based on a variety
of inputs and historical data


Minimum Qualifications
● 7-10 years of finance experience in related entertainment industry and/or with content acquisition
a focus
● Strong managerial skills and desire to develop people professionally
● Experience managing teams and working closely to define goals, roles/responsibilities and drive
performance in a sales organization
● Proven track record of effectively building and managing dashboards, KPIs and financial growth
to drive sustained revenue
● Salesforce/CRM experience important
● Excellent communication, spreadsheet, writing, and editing skills
● A natural born leader who has experience closing deals, executing contracts that can build a
team of closers and bring velocity to the sales cycle
● Ability to thrive in a small team environment, and to take initiative to lead some projects and
aspects of others independently
● Passion for live music is a must.
