The Role
We are looking for a motivated professional to join our Foster City-based team as a Financial Controller. In this role, you will work
closely with the Chief Financial Officer to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting,
regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and
procedures. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and quarterly management reports
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Review monthly team metrics and dashboards
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare quarterly analysis on budget vs. actual reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up to date revenue projections
• Assist with ad hoc marketing requests
• Maintenance of debt requirements and calculation of quarterly and annual debt covenants
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Potential need to work with billing related tasks including contract review, profit sharing distributions, etc.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent Communication Skills - verbal, written, interpersonal
• Detail oriented with analytical skills
• Strong partnering abilities – able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong accountability and ownership
• CPA preferred
• Proactive in own growth and development and key to the growth and development as the team
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ Years of Wealth Management or Financial Services Experience
• Strong PC skills and the ability to quickly master other related business systems
• NetSuite experience preferred
