Job Responsibilities:


Finance Department

  • Manage the Finance Department through the Assistant Controller, and Cost Accounting Manager.
  • Responsible for closing the books monthly, quarterly, annually. Responsible for audits, transfer pricing, forecasts, budget.

Finance & Tax

  • Work on returns for US, Canada, and Mexico. Review new tax law, find new tax savings for company.
  • Work with third party on R&D Study, conduct studies as needed for new properties. Prepare and execute audit of books for all companies. Oversee sales tax, including audits.
  • Work with third party to calculate taxes due and pay quarterly taxes. Oversee budget and projection processes. Cash Flow analysis.
  • Ad Hoc reporting as necessary to make decisions for self and Executive Management.
  • Responsible for Cost Accounting issues and shop reporting. Management of Frazier Installation Company.
  • Responsibility for leases of property, and equipment. Direct non-shop Mexican activity.
  • Keep up to date with economic information from industry and non-industry sources. Training as necessary.

Accounts Payable

  • Manage the Accounts Payable Manager and ultimately make sure the department is running optimally.
  • Signatory responsibility for AP Checks, ACH, and wires for US, Canada, and Mexico. Sign off on advances to customers, expense reports. Vendor interaction as necessary.
  • Ultimate sign off on new vendors.

Other Responsibilities

  • Responsible for bank covenant reporting. Manage Customer credit,investment accounting.
  • Participate as a member of the retirement committee for 401k plan, deferred Compensation plan and RRSP/DPSP plans.
  • Oversee the process of commission for salesmen and bonuses for project management.
  • Approve shop incentive plan payouts. Approval of terms. Discussion of jobs with salesmen and customers as needed. D&B Reporting. Competition updates.


At least 10 years of experience as a controller. Ability to become CFO in less than 4 years.
