Blockchain technology represents a new paradigm for how digital products and organizations are built.
Framework Ventures invests in seed and early-stage financial products that aim to replace legacy
financial infrastructure. We take an active role in the networks we support, working with management to
help execute on their vision. As a key member of the accounting team, this person will be responsible for
supporting the CFO with both the venture fund and management company operations, accounting, and
financial reporting functions. The candidate will work closely with the CFO in managing the crypto activity
across all entities for audit and tax purposes. The role will have exposure to legal, corporate structure
and investor relations.


- Hands-on responsibility for the accounting, operations, and financial reporting functions
- Assist in preparing the monthly, quarterly, annual GAAP balance sheet, income statement, and
statement of shareholders’ equity
- Act as primary contact to external auditors and lead an efficient audit process
- In-depth operational knowledge of the business to monitor, influence and impact the financial
performance of the company
- Design and implement informative financial reports to meet the needs of the business by
providing analysis on financial results
- Hands-on partner to CFO for business planning, financial forecasting, budgets and management
reporting activities
- Prepare external investor reporting and coordinate with investors on subsequent information
- Develop best practices processes and controls around financial reporting including regulatory
- Drive to continuously improve the accounting operations, controls and financial reporting
- Own income and transaction-based tax compliance and equity accounting
- Management of firms HR platform, including payroll, insurance & benefits


- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5 years experience doing fund accounting at a hedge fund or venture fund preferred
- Strong understanding of SEC regulatory requirements and compliance
- Audit background a plus
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting (i.e. US GAAP) particularly around topics inherent with
venture, blockchain and fin-tech companies
- Knowledge of managing a Cap Table, option issuance/exercises
- Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, Carta or other accounting software
- Experience in crypto accounting is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to act and operate independently; natural curiosity to take on new
challenges and responsibility
- Desire for responsibilities outside everyday job function. This is a small company and the ability
to wear multiple hats is necessary
