Job #1561: Controller - PA (2-23-21)

Controller- Conshohocken

- Prepare quarterly financial statements and review statements with management

- Prepare and maintain the construction in process schedule for internal and external use

- Maintain the general ledger and oversee all account reconciliations

- Meet with the company’s bankers and bonding company to complete renewals and review financial results as needed

- Coordinate all audit and tax activities - Review business insurance programs annually or more frequently as necessary

- Oversee team of nine employees responsible for input of accounting and job costing data, payroll and human resources, and back office functions - Ensure 401(k) plan compliance

- Be responsible for cash management and intercompany reconciliations

- Monitor closing process, billing, invoicing, expense reimbursements and payroll administration

- Maintain various licenses necessary to conduct business

The successful candidate will have:

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

- CPA Preferred - Seven or more years of related experience

- Blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred

- Experience with construction and job cost accounting

- Proficiency in accounting software, Sage300 CRE experience preferred

- Great organizational and time management skills

- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
