Position Summary:

 Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Management System (CMS) for the Company’s indirect and direct auto finance operations.  This individual will be responsible for evaluating and supporting the Company’s Compliance Program, identifying areas for improvement, assessing compliance and legal risk, monitoring for compliance and assisting with the implementation of legal, regulatory, and internal process changes.  The individual will also spend a significant amount of time testing for compliance with state and federal law, and Company policies and procedures. 

As a member of the Compliance Department, the Senior Compliance Analyst will have the ability and be expected to drive change, and positively impact the company by proving feedback to management and recommending actions to minimize compliance and legal risk within a dynamic, growing organization.


Primary Function:

Support CMS by:

Assessing and monitoring operations to identify compliance risk within the Company Performing compliance reviews on a routine basis to review the Company’s business practices to ensure that they are following pertinent regulations and laws and Company policies and procedures. Prepares and provides compliance performance and risk-related reports to senior management Create and maintain CMS risk assessments, test plans, testing spreadsheets, reports and policies and procedures, and execute testing and reporting Compiles compliance analyses and recommendations for review by compliance management; reports compliance results and has ability to explain findings and recommendations to management. Recommending and implementing change and process improvements to the compliance and operational areas to ensure sustained compliance and operational efficiencies Assisting with regulatory examinations as needed Assisting with the development of compliance oversight materials for senior management Assisting with compliance training materials and tracking Assisting with vendor management due diligence reviews as needed Other duties as assigned


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Knowledge of UDAAP, TILA, FCRA, Fair Lending, ECOA, FDCPA, SCRA, TCPA, GLB, OFAC, EFT Act, etc… Write reports, business correspondence and policy/procedural materials Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents Other duties as assigned

Education (Required/Preferred):

BS or BA from an accredited college/university Experience (Required/Preferred) A minimum of 6 years Compliance analysis experience (8+ years preferred) with a background in key operational areas, testing experience, report preparation, trend tracking and analysis.  Computer Skills: Technical proficiencies in MS Office Suite programs, such as Word and Excel Advanced proficiency with Excel (such as vlookup function skills) a plus.
