Position: Vice President – Operations

Company: Growing unclaimed property auditing firm located in southern Connecticut seeks a highly motivated, self-starting individual with audit experience, interested in working in a collegial and entrepreneurial environment.
Our company with a standing of over 6 years and a steady clientele, values the collaborative and cooperative work setting that we have created.

Position Summary: The role to be filled is a management level position responsible for enabling the audit team to achieve maximum efficiency. If successful you will be reporting directly to the top brass and will have the opportunity to work on your legacy. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented person with several years of project management and audit experience, strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:-
1. The implementation of audit plans
2. Review and analysis of audit records
3. Development of audit efficiencies and infrastructure development
4. Management of auditors
Other duties consistent with the unclaimed property audit process


In addition to the qualities identified above, candidate should possess:
1. A bachelor’s degree
2. CPA accreditation (preferred)
3. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
4. Minimum of 4-5 years of project management and auditing experience
5. Prior experience managing audit personnel
